NOTIFICATION: Permanent shutdown and termination of all CSB.DB services and functionalities by the end of 2015.
Herewith we inform you that all CSB.DB databases will be permanently shut down and associated services will be permanently terminated by the end of 2015 / beginning of 2016. This includes all gene correlation and expression databases (search the WWW for alternatives), the GMD@CSB.DB module (alternative will be reachable via and all associated databases (terminated).
The BestFit software, a tool for non-aqueous fractionation data analysis, will be available by the Experimental Systems Biology Research Group headed by Dr. Patrick Giavalisco.
We thank all users, contributors, and collaborators of CSB.DB for their long-standing support.

SceCoR@CSB.DB - The S.cerevisiae Co-Response Database
The SceCoR@CSB.DB contains transcriptional co-responses (gene-gene correlations) of the eukaryotic model organism Saccharomyces cerevisiae. By scanning for the best co-responses among changing transcript levels these databases allows to infer hypotheses on the functional interaction of genes.

Single Gene Query (sGQ)
sGQ: allows to pre-define a gene and to retrieve genes associated by co-response
Multiple Gene Query (mGQ)
mGQ: allows pre-definition of a set of genes and returns the co-response between these genes
Intersection Gene Query (isGQ)
isGQ: allows retrieval of genes which exhibit common co-response to at least two pre-define genes
